voice “no please make that four”. It was Ashley’s voice. He is also one of our
society friends. Summers have already taken the life from all of us. So every
day a night walk accompanied with an ice cream or goal had become a necessity.
But
not forgetting to mention that Ashley though is overweight, still he will never
compromise on food and especially on sweets. He loves them and so none of us
have ever stopped him. All in one tone surprisingly asked “Why no ice cream for
you”. To this Ashley answered that he is on crash diet.
We all
were in a shock with his answer. Ashley doing a diet is like a nightmare and
that to if he is on crash diet, was not acceptable at all.
“How
can you do a crash diet, it is actually nutritionally unbalanced can lead to
long-term poor health” said Sharon.
Then
the discussion on Crash Diet started. Crash diet is very dangerous. It is
definitely a method to lose weight
really fast in a short period of time, but the side effects are enormous. You
can reduce approx. 700 calories in a day. People who crash diet by missing out food or greatly
cutting down on their daily calories tend to put weight back on quicker than
those who follow a healthy, long-term diet plan.
Ashley
was little scared hearing us. I was also tensed for him. But suddenly there was
a new voice “Why don’t you go for Honey Diet”. We just checked that she was a
young lady a dietitian.
She
introduced herself and said that Dabur Honey has come up with something very
interesting. You have a teaspoon of honey with warm water in the morning for
weight management. Honey is a substitute for Sugar where the calorie content id

for health.

girls especially honey is known to be useful for the skin because of its
moisturizing and nourishing properties.
We were very impressed with her thoughts. So we asked her
more about diet and ideas for losing weight.
With that she explained that exercise to body is like
knowledge to mind. It is necessary for anyone – young or old, working or
non-working, fat or fit. One should remove time for exercise.
She also explained us about healthy snacks and desserts.
She gave us recipes for Honey Fruit salad, and Honey Berry Milk shake.
The information was helpful for not only Ashley but also to
others also. Ashley finally decided to stop his crash diet and start a healthy
honey diet along with exercise.
